Tomata Rage Resistant Qualities.

 1:  Anti-cancer: Tomatoes contain vitamin C and some other anti-oxidants that fight against harmful free radicals.  These free radicals are responsible for cancer.

A study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute found that people who contained lycopene in their diet were 21% less likely to develop prostate cancer.

 Another study found that beta-carotene reduced the risk of colon cancer.  Dietary fiber reduces the risk of colorectal cancer.  Tomatoes contain lycopene, beta-carotene and dietary fiber.

 2:  Controlling blood pressure: Reducing the level of sodium in the diet and increasing the level of potassium regulates blood pressure.  Another medium-sized tomato contains about 300 mg of potassium.  Potassium keeps blood vessels dilated.  As a result, blood pressure remains normal.

 3: Heart health: Dietary fiber, potassium, vitamin C and choline present in tomatoes play a helpful role in heart health.

 A study published in the journal Osteoporosis International found that adding lycopene to the diet of menopausal women for four months reduced their rate of bone loss compared to others.
